DI Neil Manson orders PCs Tony Stamp and Lance Powell to stay out of the wreckage of the pub where the bomb has gone off while he summons help. When Stamp realises Supt. Okaro is still inside, he risks his life to rescue the Super, and manages to save him in the nick of time. Unaware of the chaos nearby, DC Rob Thatcher slips another racist hate letter into Okaro's internal mail.
