Tansil, a native of Hwajeongol in the back of Jirisan Mountain, goes to the house of President Woo Man-chan in Anguk-dong, Seoul, as introduced by his relative. President Woo, who had been away from home for a long time, returns and begins to approach Tansil, who was listening to the remnants of the disabled wife.
